Oh well, can't win 'em all.
(I dunno, maybe I'm judging too harshly due to CHIBNAAAAALL! but the pacing seemed off as well, as Confidential revealed the first cut was an hour long and the pre-credits sequence explained a minor character's life very slowly while they showed a deleted scene on the Doctor and Amy discussing Rory that seemed more important. And I did like Rory just getting on with it when confronted with a mystery. But... erg. Unevenly-paced return of a classic monster that means nothing to me.)

The Doctor arranged a peace treaty, but The Brig blew them all up instead, which soured their relationship. Now they're just as pissed off as before, but no longer covered by enormously clumsy rubber suits.
The Sea Devils was another Silurians one (sort of, it featured the Silurians aquatic cousins), where Doctor #3 again tries to negotiate for peace, only for Roger Delgadro as The Master to stick a major spanner in the works. I haven't seen Peter Davison's encounter with them, but that's all the love that the Silurians have had so far.
