This morning I received the last out-of-town NDA for Doctor Who and got done scanning the currently-to-hand in-town and air-mailed-from-the-US ones, and so I scurry over to the C7 forums and find...

I think about 45 groups are moving into the second playtest stage.

I'm not involved in the playtest co-ordination but I know we'll be needing other groups to playtest more finalised documents at somepoint who've not been involved in the initially playtests (as well as the other games we publish or will be publishing).

Did you manage to playtest the initial stage at all or were you waiting for the final NDAs from people before you started?

I was indeed waiting, rather than having to send three or four NDAs a week for the last three.

Russell's in a potential PBEM test group I brought together and has already signed up himself so I could see tests through him, but if coming in with fresh eyes later on helps I'll gladly volunteer.

I did as a result get to look at the stage 1 doc briefly, but haven't printed it or made a character or anything. The others haven't, and include possible GMs.

On the bright side, we get to miss out on all the sucky decisions they made. 1d6 to decide outcomes? Ugh.
