Jun. 12th, 2006 08:06 pmThe "From The Sublime To The Ridiculous" concert in aid of Pass IT On brought in over £7000 so I think it may be the start of a tradition.
It was really pretty hot in there, of course, so I was rather glad I didn't go with the tuxedo idea even though I did feel a tad underdressed.
Fart jokes in cantata form work surprisingly well.
The Really Terrible Orchestra need to do some work to live down to their name. Their strings and percussion sound good, they keep time, only their brass really hit anywhere near enough bum notes. :D
The outbreak of singing along for "Early One Morning" after highly sporadic joining-in on everything else, including "Scotland The Brave", was slightly unnerving. Which is Spike's fault.
And I now want to employ Peter Cannell as the narrator for all my games.
