The Fringe
Jun. 9th, 2006 11:11 pm... is even more bloody enormous than usual, at 28000 performers. Or performances. Or flyering people on the Royal Mile. I forget. But it's a whole mess of stuff.
Hamlets down on last year, only one "straight" version of Macbeth, A Midsummer Night's Dream and The Tempest way out in front.
Of note:
Another lecture by my brother and his colleagues on Rosslyn Chapel and the, shall we say, inaccuracies of The Da Vinci Code.
Tracy Moffat at Stills.
Things I might seek tickets for:
Bill Bailey camping out in the EICC for about two weeks.
Dylan Moran for one night only. (Which considering he lives in Edinburgh is a little odd.)
The Dresden Dolls in the Spiegeltent for four consecutive evenings.
And a musical adaptation of Nosferatu. Or perhaps not.
