So I marked the passing of the previous DC Universe by watching the first episodes of the Batman and Superman Animated Series and buying issue 1 of Dark Horse's Angel & Faith. (And I'd have bought Secret Avengers, a Marvel comic written by Warren Ellis, but it wasn't in.)
To be fair, I probably would have bought the new Batman or Grant Morrison's Action Comics if they'd been in. It seems odd that of The New 52, only the Justice League seems to actually come out on launch day.
But ultimately, I like my DCU to be animated. (And I like my Marvel U to be live-action from their studio.)
