Aug. 13th, 2012 01:04 amMissed most of the Olympic closing ceremony due to An Evening With Neil Gaiman and Amanda Palmer. Oddly, both involved We Will Rock You. Odder still, the closing ceremony ended with the closing theme from Stardust.
An Evening With also involved songs and stories and poems (including a song by Neil and a story by Amanda), special guests such as warmup by Andrew O'Neill and Michael Pope, a song written by a member of the audience, a bit of a book that I cannot tell you about and a Q&A where they argued about how to answer if they ever have arguments.
