Dollhouse 101

Ghost is more a City Of than a Serenity, a fine setup rather than a thing of joy in itself. In its general style and LA setting Dollhouse feels more like early Angel than Buffy or a Firefly - initially a straightforwardish procedural with a superhuman genre concept in the middle. I imagine it'll get major bonkers somewhere down the line, if it lasts long enough. No laugh-out-loud moments, notably.

But hey, the Mutant Enemy Grr-Arg-ed at me from the screen for the first time in five years, apart from Dr. Horrible. That makes it worthwhile right there.
