Bloody Nora. They kept the dancing-slowly bits and cut out the swordfight. What a swizz!
Costumes-in-the-crowd-wise, I saw less than expected The Dark Knight Jokers, a decent smattering of zombies, the Not Trying Award went to a guy whose entire effort was to have a marijuana leaf painted on one cheek, best effort went to five girls as all of the Thunderbirds, more assorted superbeings, a poorly-upholstered werewolf, Milli and Jake (okay, it might just have been a girl with pink hair in a black jacket and combats walking along with a shabby-cool guy in a leather jacket and jeans, but I stand by my account), some French students as stereotypical French people in berets and polo necks, and Bradford and Bingley with nooses around their necks.
