The Manhattan Kaiju Project

So, yep, Cloverfield. First day, nearly first showing (but I had something to do at lunchtime). Horrible in places naturally, really tense in others, little dots of funny spread through (Drew Goddard having previously worked on Buffy of course).

( No spoilers really, but much rambling commentary )

Unusually for a staggered British release, we actually got the particularly attached trailers - Star Trek and Iron Man... and one for Doctor Who too. The most new footage there was of Donna talking to Bernard Cribbins about how once she met the perfect man but she let him go. Oh no, she's mooning over the Doctor as well. Let's hope she snaps out of it and doesn't become season five Spike.
