On Tuesday, my best mate took a job in Nottingham and my brother became a father.
It was a rather strange day, all things considered.
The days since have been kind of a smudge.
The baby, Fleur, is fine, as is her mother.
It's a good job for Dave, but he's still looking for something closer to home or at least not in Nottingham.
