Edinburgh to London trains stop at 5.30 on Saturday! Which is really really early. And lead to [livejournal.com profile] varyar flying back down rather than getting a train at the not-exactly-unreasonable hour of 7...

Much TWH spoiling was largely avoided (except by [livejournal.com profile] mirax_girl but even then it's a recurring situation) and Cold City was bought, and signed, and will hopefully be enjoyed. (Fingers crossed.)

And there was mashed potato, chips, iffy mocha, slight rain, bridesmaids in black, a Highlander comic (how's that for proper Scottish culture?), duty free and eerie-looking grates.

Our intrepid investigators.

Not actually the eerie grate view. D'oh.

Our intrepid investigators after debilitating SAN loss.

Cold City signing session - 5.00pm-5.02pm

I didn't actually see what this said. Doy.

Hopefully he made it safely on skeezyjet and will be able to send the already-infamous "Milli Versus Craigula" photo.

I landed safe and sound, although it'll be a couple weeks before "Milli v. Craigula" appears. I forgot to bring the USB cable for my camera. It's guarding my house for me.

Only another... oy. 8 days to go. But the picture shall be worth the wait, I think.

OTOH, this shiny new laptop DOES take screen caps. This, combined with the first two s28 Doctor Who DVDs (and Wire season 1, cheaper than it can be gotten in America) make me happy.

Anyhoo.

Uh, Varyar? You're wearing a University of Maryland t-shirt. In case you didn't know.
