Afore Serenity there were some trailers, naturally. The one for DOOM is the most high profile. It concentrates heavily on (a) indistinct monsters in the dark, (b) The Rock (so you get one shot of Karl Urban and a longshot of Rosamund Pike) and (c) the first-person sequence, with the bobbing gun and all. And the ending? Facing a doglike monster and revving a chainsaw. Comedy gold.
