To The House Of Ideas!
May. 30th, 2003 06:53 pmMarvel Comics have relaunched their Epic imprint, now targeted to finding new writers and artists.
Well... Hmm...
According to this they're looking for new takes on established Marvel characters not currently in use as well as entirely new works that play to the strengths of comics (strong visuals, unlimited effects budgets and the like).
So I'm polishing up my Doctor Strange proposal, and also prepping another piece. It's an adaptation of something out of copyright, not currently being done in comics, with instant name recognition and about to have its profile raised by two big Hollywood productions in the next two years or so.
And for those who aren't interested in my attempts at recognition, here are preview pages for Neil Gaiman's 1602.
